Check-ins, classes & revenue per member

How busy each club is, where capacity is wasted, and whether traffic turns into revenue.

Check-In Volume & Utilization

Visits per club, per hour, and per active member vs last year. Surfaces peak-hour crowding, slow dayparts, and the visits-per-member-per-month metric that predicts churn before billing does.

Class & Studio Utilization

Booked-vs-capacity fill rate by class, time slot, studio, and instructor, with waitlist depth per club. Shows which sessions sell out and where to add or cut classes.

Revenue Per Member

Recognized revenue (dues + ancillary) divided by active members, about $48 across the group. Broken down by club and stream so you see where non-dues revenue is thin.

Membership & Retention

Active members, churn & win-back

Who's active, who's leaving, who's at risk, and who's worth reactivating.

Active Member Roster

The true count of paying members, about 4,310 across the group, net of freezes, comps, and lapses, by club. Tracks net growth (joins minus cancels) so you see which clubs are actually growing.

Churn & Cancellation

Monthly churn rate, about 2.9% across the chain, by club vs the group average, with cancellation reasons, tenure-at-cancel, and the dues dollars leaving each month.

At-Risk Member List

Members trending toward cancellation, falling check-ins, missed dues, or no class bookings, flagged before they cancel. At-risk dues summed per club so a manager knows where to start.

RFM Member Segments

Recency, Frequency, Monetary segmentation separates your highest-value members from occasional visitors so reactivation and upsell land where they pay back. See RFM.

Reactivation & Win-Back

An exportable list of lapsed and frozen members, ranked by tenure and CLV, so each club runs a local win-back instead of a chain-wide blast. Tracks reactivation rate by club and offer.

New Member & Onboarding

Joins by club and source, plus first-90-day check-in behavior, the early-engagement window that predicts retention. Flags new members who haven't returned so staff can intervene.

Retention reporting runs on the same engine as the multi-location dashboard. CLV and RFM are in the glossary.

Finance

Dues, payments & cash control

Where the money comes in, what's failing to collect, and whether the drawer reconciles, by club.

Means of Payment & Dues Collection

Recurring dues vs day-pass and POS sales, split by card, ACH, and cash, with failed-payment and declined-dues counts per club so you can chase the collections that erode revenue.

Paid In / Paid Out & Cash Audit

Every paid-in and paid-out, over/short by club and shift, plus voids and credit memos. Confirms front-desk cash reconciles and flags wildcards for review.

Ancillary & Non-Dues Revenue

Personal training, classes, retail, supplements, and day passes, the revenue beyond membership. Non-dues revenue per member and per club, the lever that lifts revenue per member above $48.

Finance reports draw on the Financials and Auditing & Compliance modules. See the platform page.

Store Health & Pacing

One score per club, projected to month-end

Which club needs you first, and whether the month lands on budget.

Questions

Fitness reporting, answered

How does myAnalyst calculate member churn for a multi-club gym?

Churn is the share of active members who cancel or lapse in a period, calculated per club and rolled up across the portfolio. With roughly 4,310 active members and a 2.9% monthly churn rate, the Churn & Cancellation report shows how many memberships you're losing, which clubs beat or trail the chain average, and which cancellation reasons are trending, refreshed in near real-time.

Can myAnalyst report check-ins and class utilization by club?

Yes. The Check-In Volume report tracks visits per club, per hour, and per member against last year, while Class & Studio Utilization shows booked-vs-capacity fill rates by class and instructor. Both surface in LiveStats and refresh in near real-time, so operators can see peak-hour crowding, under-used studios, and which clubs are driving engagement.

What is revenue per member and how is it reported?

Revenue per member is total recognized revenue, dues plus ancillary spend such as personal training, retail, and day passes, divided by active members. With revenue per member around $48, the Revenue Per Member report breaks it down by club and stream, flags clubs where non-dues revenue is thin, and tracks the metric over time. See the glossary for definitions.

Does myAnalyst show where members come from?

Yes. The Member-Origin Geospatial Map plots member home locations as heatmaps and drive-time trade areas around each club, so you can see catchment overlap between clubs, identify under-served pockets for marketing, and inform real-estate decisions for new locations. It's part of the Customer Mapping add-on.
