Common questions about the map

What data layers can I map?

Six layers: gross sales, guest count, vehicle mix, trends, retention, and guest origin, each rendered as a heatmap, a point map, or a regional choropleth, so you can see demand the way the question is asked.

What is a drive-time isochrone?

An isochrone is the area reachable within a set drive time, for example everything within a 3-, 6-, or 9-minute drive of a store. It is a far more honest trade area than a simple radius because it follows real roads and traffic.

Where does guest-origin data come from?

Guest origin is derived from the addresses and ZIPs already captured at the point of sale, then geocoded and aggregated. No new data collection is required, and nothing personally identifying is shown on the map.

Can the map help pick new sites?

Yes. Overlaying guest-origin density, drive-time isochrones, and custom trade-area polygons shows where your existing demand comes from and where it thins out, which is exactly the signal you want when evaluating a new location or a cannibalization risk.
